Lunachicks

      Lunachicks adalah band riot grrrl asal New York. Theo Kogan , Gina Volpe, dan Sydney "Squid" adalah siswa di New York City Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art, mereka memutuskan untuk membentuk sebuah band. Sindi Benezra, seorang kenalan Silver, diminta untuk bergabung sesaat setelah itu. Dengan drummer Becky Wreck (Susan Rebecca Lloyd)
mereka merilis 4 single di tahun 1988 dan sebuah album yang diberi nama Babysitters on Acid. Di tahun 1992 posisi Becky Wreck digantikan oleh drummer  Luscious Jackson,Kate Schellenbach sebelum akhirnya Lunachicks mendapatkan Chip Inggris sebagai drummernya sampai di tahun 2000 saat band ini bubar.
