babes in toyland

Minnesota adalah tempat berdirinya band punk rock bernama Babes In Toyland tahun 1987. Antara tahun 1990 - 1995 band ini mengeluarkan tiga album. Babes In Toyland juga banyak menginspirasi pergerakan riot grrrl. Formasi band ini diisi oleh Kat Bjelland ( vokal dan gitar ), Lori Barbero ( drum ) dan Michelle Leon ( bass ), yang digantikan oleh Maureen Herman pada tahun 1992.
