The Gits

The Gits,satu band riot grrrl yang memiliki vokalis bernama Mia Zapata (yang juga teman dari personil - personil 7 Year Bitch) terbentuk di tahun 1986 di Ohio. Dan yang sangat disayangkan, di tahun 1993 band ini harus bubar setelah terbunuhnya si vokalis yaitu Mia Zapata karena diperkosa dan dibunuh (ironis memang bagi aku,seorang riot grrrl diperkosa). Meski band ini tak pernah menaungi major label tapi band ini sangat menginfluence banyak vokalis - vokalis perempuan.
